For authors considering submitting research involving phylogenetic analysis, please consult our editorial for guidance on the methodologies we consider to be of a suitable standard for consideration in BMC Evolutionary Biology.
Announcement: Launch of BMC Ecology and Evolution
We are pleased to announce that BMC Ecology and BMC Evolutionary Biology will be merged into one journal and re-launched as BMC Ecology and Evolution on January 1st 2021. As a result BMC Ecology is no longer open to new submissions and will not publish any new articles after December 31st 2020. The scope of BMC Evolutionary Biology has now been expanded to include ecology submissions and authors in this field are encouraged to submit to this journal.
The Editors of BMC Developmental Biology, BMC Ecology and BMC Evolutionary Biology welcome submissions to the cross-journal special issue on eco-evo-devo, the effect of the environment of development and evolution. Please click the above link for further information and to submit to the collection.
The special issue is open for submissions.
