Family subtrees for a sample of six of the families analyzed with significant NoTO and/or SSCD values. Inferred gains of salt tolerance (see Methods) are marked on each family with black circles. The subtrees represent a) Amaranthaceae, b) Apiaceae, c) Brassicaceae, d) Cucurbitaceae, e) Cyperaceae, and f) Euphorbiaceae.
