  1. Data was analysed with a General Linear Mixed Model with a REML estimation procedure. Degrees of freedom (DF & DFDen), F-ratios and P-values are provided for fixed effects (Inbreeding, Sex, Inbreeding × Sex and Density); variance components, standard errors, Z-values and P-values are provided for the random factor (maternal line). The analysis of mortality rates is presented separately for males (Gompertz model) and females (Logistic model) (see text for details).
