Confidently reconstructed ancestral ranges (in bold) have a likelihood greater than 0.75; otherwise, ancestral ranges and transition polarities were considered uncertain. Regions are coded as A = Amazon, B = Andes, AB = Amazon + Andes, and AC = Amazon + Atlantic Forest.
