  1. It is indicated the slopes (b ld ) of the regression of kinship coefficient values on the natural logarithm of distance (dlij) for each estuary, the coefficient of determination R2, the average and standard error (SE) of the kinship coefficient among individuals separated by less than 100 m (i.e. 0.1 km) (FA) for each estuary, and the intensity of SGS (Sp) calculated for pairwise distance among individuals up to 10 Km within each estuary is shown. When GENELAND detected spatial genetic discontinuities within estuaries, the SGS parameters were recalculated for each genetic cluster when N > 50. Each one of the genetic clusters were named based on color assignation from Figure 1 including pink (P), malachite green (MG) and orange (O) within Caribbean estuaries and yellow (Y), purple (P), tourmaline green (TG), lapis lazuli (LL) and red (R) in Pacific estuaries.
